In November 2022, three students from Stuttgart founded habric. Their shared vision: to develop technology for those who need it most. As early as March 2023, they celebrated their first major success when they won the regional Jugend forscht competition.

Shortly afterward, they also impressed at the nationwide StartupTeens competition. There, they delivered their first pitch and further refined their business model.

In June 2024, the team took first place at the national finals of Jugend gründet, prevailing over more than 1,000 other teams. As a prize, they traveled to Silicon Valley and visited, among others, Google and Nvidia.

Another highlight followed in September 2024: German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier invited them to Schloss Bellevue. At the beginning of 2025, the three founders then made their vision official and formally established habric.
