Oceanflight Technologies GmbH was founded in 2023 by Titian Schmedes, Daniel Gurdan, Jan Stumpf, and Michael Achtelik—a team of four water sports enthusiasts with roots in drone and aviation technology. Their vision: to bring flying to the water and thus usher in a new era of mobility on the water.

Conventional boats consume enormous amounts of energy to displace the water around them.

Oceanflight uses hydrofoil systems – wings below the water surface that lift the boat’s hull completely out of the water.

This allows the boat to fly almost friction-free over the waves, saving energy and enabling a smooth, stable ride – even at high speeds and in rough seas.

As a pioneer in electric hydrofoil technology, Oceanflight develops intelligent control and propulsion systems that redefine the experience on the water as quiet, efficient, and emission-free.
