The gate startup SEAL Robotics develops robotic systems to automate safety-critical and previously largely manual work steps in container handling, including “twistlock handling” on ships and “pin handling” on trains. The goal is to enable terminals to achieve more stable, predictable, and faster operations in light of skilled labor shortages, increasing time pressure, and high safety requirements.
