Many industrial processes are still too complex to be automated. sewts’ artificial intelligence helps robots to do this.

sewts uses cutting-edge machine learning and computer vision technologies to develop highly intelligent control software. This allows to transform standard components like industrial robots and cameras into adaptive systems that consciously react to changes in their environment. As a result, sewts enables their customers to automate even extremely complex tasks which are performed by human workers until now. sewts is today developing the brain for the robots of tomorrow.

The three founders of sewts – Alex, Tim and Till – became friends during their studies at the Technical University of Munich. After graduating with their master’s degree, they decided to disrupt the textile industry with their own company.

Due to the team’s research background in the field of fiber reinforced plastics, they possess unique know-how regarding the simulation and processing of technical textiles. The team decided to transfer this knowledge to non-technical textiles like clothes and linen, multiplying the variety of possible applications. Today they tackle the toughest challenges in textile-related industries – like the automated production of clothes.
