The team from KEWAZO is developing a robot which automates the process of scaffolding and introduces a digital platform to construction sites.
The intelligent scaffolding system offers cost-efficient and safe transport of the scaffold parts. The solution resolves the lack of skilled labor and reduces mounting costs by at least 30 %.
The team got together during the Think.Make.Start (TMS), a two-week training course for young entrepreneurs performed by UnternehmerTUM (UTUM) – the center for innovation and foundation of TU Munich. The original project idea was born during the studies of two of the founders who own a master’s degree in „Advanced Construction and Building Technology Program“ by TUM. During the past year, the idea has developed, and a concrete business idea has crystallized.
